Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
In my personal.xls in Standard Module1 I have:

Sub FormatNumTodate()
Selection.NumberFormat = "mm/dd/yyyy"
End Sub

I also have a Macro Icon in my toolbar pointing to this macro.
Works great..
