my custom views seem to have gone pear shaped after I added some combo boxes onto the spreadsheet. esentially some of the custom views just hide the row in which the combo boxes are when they are not required.

the error message i get when i try to view thbe cusotm views is;

1. cannot shift objects off sheet.
2. some view setting can not be applied.

is there a documented problem with custom views & combo boxes?

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
looks like the solution - particulary the comments, i have a zillion in my spreadsheet. the spreadsheets needs some rejigging. will post later if it works.
