Is it possible to name a custom view based on a cell value, by VB, and if it is, can I recall that custom view by lookup?

This will dictate how I build the rest of my spreadsheet, thanks for looking

Yes - you can use the value of a range as the name (as long as it's valid) when using CustomViews.Add in code. Equally, you could then recall it from a table in code.
