how do I create a macro to print a footer that automatically shows me when the file was last saved?

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Perhaps something like

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_BeforeSave(ByVal SaveAsUI As Boolean, Cancel As Boolean)
ActiveSheet.PageSetup.RightFooter = "Last Saved: " & Now
End Sub
