I feel this must have been asked many times before but I've not spotted a solution.

At the top of my Excel window I have buttons for 'cut', 'copy', 'paste', 'paste formatting', and 'paste values', amongst others.

I'd like to add a 'paste formulas' button as well. But being a function hidden in the 'paste special' submenu, it doesn't seem to be available. How do I make it so ?

TIA

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Thanks. Was sort of hoping there was a simple to describe way of creating one. Or is that wishful thinking ?

You can also go to Customise and then where you have the little drop-down next to the standard paste button, drag the 'Formulas' item onto your toolbar. :)

That's quite neat - I didn't know that was possible. Dragging moves it, Ctrl+dragging copies it. It would be nicer if there was a button though.

You can customise it how you like but unfortunately there's no default image for the button but you can preselect an image or create your own. Right click on it from within the Customise section to access the different options available. :)

Thanks, the link looks useful. I've managed to put a custom button on the toolbar, tomorrow I'll work out how to assign the macro to it. (I did have a little play but it seemed to only allow existing macros to be assigned.)

As for the drop down menu thing, well either I missed it or the company has given me a too old a version to work with (2002).

Still; getting there slowly, thanks.
