Hi friends!

I'd like to know if there is anyway to customize the "Accounting Formats" dropdown list at the Home tab, Number section in the ribbon.

Does any of you Excel Blackbelt Ninja know how to do that?

Just for clarification, I don't need to create any custom format, what I need is to customize the list to place my most used Accounting Formats there ;).

Following a snapshot of the list.

Thank you in advance.

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Perhaps these shortcuts could help you;

$Shift + 4
£Hold Alt 44444 then let go of Alt
Hold Alt 0128 then let go of Alt
¥Hold Alt 0165 then let go of Alt
CHFDon't know…

<colgroup><col style="width:48pt" span="5" width="64"> </colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

Hi Chris!

Thanks for your answer! This will be very useful indeed.

The thing here is not only the symbol itself but, the cell format.

For instance, it will be more like formatting a cell as Accounting with the Currency format R$ 123,00.

Thanks in advance my Ninja friend :cool:
