Cut text which is more than 128 symbols

Hello guys, could someone tell how to cut text endigs? i have text in cel A1 and i need to cut everything that is more than 128 symbols. Is there is any chance to do that? Thank you for answers.

What do you mean by 'symbols' ... ? 128 Characters??

Does the formula =LEFT(A1,128) do what you want?

yes thanks it helps, and now i have to delete from the right to the left till "/" this sign
