Cutting an Axis on a graph

HI Excel gurus. How do I cut an axis so that I can obtain differentiation between the lower numbers in a table?

eg. Bob 100, 000; Bill 300, Jill 200, Peter 450. many thanks Rochelle
 

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
