Is it possible in vba to have a macro button that cycles through preset data? Example would be in cell A1 the data contains the text "A". When pressing the button once the data changes from "A" to "B" when pressed again the text changes from "B" to "C" when pressed again the text changes "C" to "D" and when pressed again the data changes from "D" to "A" starting the cycle over again. I have searched to the best of my ability, but I am unable to see if this is even possible. Thanks for your comments.

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Thats really weird. I just tried it again and it is working as requested. I closed it and reopened it. I had several other excel sheets open, but they were in different instances. It went through the alphabet a-z and then onto numeric characters and symbols even the euro sign haha. Bizarre. It is working now and thank you very much for helping me out.

Ahhh I see what it was in case youre curious and so you know Im not crazy lol. When it cycled through the other characters it was because I had used lower case letters to test it. In upper case it functions properly. Again thanks a bunch for your time and help.
