Is this possible to record daily the date in sheet 1 so that I won't log date everytime I come in to Sheet 1.
Example:

Today is april 1, 2011 it will auto fill in a1 april 1, 2011 the next day in a2 it will auto fill april 2, 2011 and so on in the same coloumn.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Try this: right click sheet1's tab, select View Code and paste in

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Activate()
If Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Value <> Date Then Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Offset(1).Value = Date
End Sub
