Hi all,
I have solved so many little "bug bares" here but I cannot find any applicable help on this one.

I am trying to design a new spreadsheet that summarises the company's performance. It is very ugly and labour intensive, I know there must be a smoother way.

The company has 4 strands of work, building trains, race cars, tractors and planes. We have 6 sites around the world: monte carlo, new york, hong kong, liverpool, munich and milan.

The spreasheet is sent every day covering company performance in all strands and sites. one page for tractors, one for race cars etc and also one page per site. There is also a summary as a front page.

The data is given by an MI tool that gives the data in a poor format but can be requested to change (slightly) to help.

I would like a nice "tight" sheet that did this maybe with one regional page that I could filter on each site for.

I am at the design stage now and welcome any ideas on best way to attack (concepts) or neat little tricks. I could fumble through but I know there is a better way out there. I will create it but need the ideas and tips, I'll e-mail a finished item to anyone who wants to see the best idea come to fruition and help others out! your ideas my elbow grease, who can come up with the best ideas?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
post-script

it is sent out each day but shown against a monthly budget (i have a day and days in month at top and this divides monthly budget up to show performance against relevant budget) and shows a year to date.
