I was creating a simple Data Entry Form and, through Data Validation, attempted to create a drop down list for one of the fields. Whilst the data validation works (if the field entry isn't spelled correctly, it won't allow the entry), no such drop down list actually appears for the end user.

Any assistance would be fantastic.

Yes, that's definitely happening. There is no dropdown when I click into the name field when using the form.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Ok, you are not talking about the Data validation not working, you are talking about the data form, they are two totally different things. ;)

I have never used the inbuilt form, as I always create my own, but I'm pretty sure the the inbuilt form does not do drop downs.

Apologies, I wasn't attempting to be misleading - the thread is referring to the Data Entry Form.

I like the how the Data Entry Form functions (to enter and edit entries etc). Is there a different option I can use to do similar, where some of the fields can have dropdowns? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Not that I'm aware of with the inbuilt data form, however you can create your own userform.
