I am having some trouble here. I have searched the forums and have not found a solution.

Here is what I have and what I need to do. Cell A1:A8 are constants (never change) B1:B8 is where the data is entered (always changes). I need to save the data to a chart (in the same sheet) in the column designated for that employee.

What I was trying to do is have the data entry clerk enter the appropriate data, then hit a macro "button" that saves the data to the appropriate place in the chart. Then she can enter the next employee's data and so on.

My problem is I am not experienced with VBA code. I was trying to accomplish this with a macro in excel or excel formulas. However, I am open too all help available. Please help.

CONSTANTS ENTERED DATA
A1: Name B1: John Doe
A2: addl ot B2: 5/12/08
A3: addl ot B3: 5/14/08
A4: addl ot B4:
A5: addl ot B5:
A6: sick B6:
A7: prsnl B7: 1
A8: vac B8:

Thanks

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Hi,

Excel has a built in function that will create an automatic form for you to add info into a data table.

If you set your data table up with the headings across the columns in a worksheet and then select Data...Form... it should sort it out for you.

Other than that you're looking at a VBA solution, probably using a userform.
