I have a bunch of columns being filtered. The columns are the same on each sheet, with each sheet being a different week.

Every week works except Aug. 8-12. When I go to the date column, and do "Sort A-Z" The dates sort in this order:

8/10
8/11
8/12
8/7
8/8
8/9

It makes no sense...I've formated the column as a long date, short date, and general number. This is incredibly frustrating...especially since every other sheet works fine...

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
It appears that your data is text, not a date (Presumably changing formats makes no difference to the display?)

Is there a quick way to fix this....I know how to go from number to text using TEXT() but what about the other way? And why does it work for the other weeks, they are also text....?

I'd guess the rest are actual dates - do they change when you alter the format?
If that is supposed to be days in August this year, a simple find and replace to replace / with / may work (assuming you have US regional settings)
