I have a sheet with 2 columns Items/Item #'s. I would like to have a button that will open a data form that the user would enter/delete values. I have tried but get an error "Excel cannot determine which row in your list or selection contains column labels...." and even after getting past that the NEW button is disabled.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
You'll get that error if your data form range contains no data, but the form will show after hitting OK.

If you're using an ActiveX button (from the Control Toolbox) and it's disabled, you're probably in Edit mode. Launch the Toolbox and deselect Edit mode and it will be enabled.
