Data from Access

Hello,

I find the crosstabs in Access kind of akward. I'd like to establish a connection to a user-level secured database, run SQL and import the data into specified workbook, where I have already pivot tables "waiting" for the updated data.

I'd be grateful for suggestions how to make this in a most efficient way. I am (kind of) familiar with VBA and SQL, just need a hint.

Martin are you planning to run the SQL in Access and then run a macro from Access to send the data to XL or do you plan to do this all from XL?
