Is there a way I can use a formula that will simply return the LAST item in a column's list?

Help!

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Here is some vba, you could always make it a UDF

Columns("D:D").Select
Selection.End(xlDown).Select
Cells(1, 1) = ActiveCell.Value
