Hi everyone,
I have a column chart connected to a pivot table. Everytime I refresh the data, the Data Labels on each column reappear. I have to click on each one and clear.
Is there a way to permanently delete these labels?
Thanks

Hi Everyone,
I'm not sure what to do if no one posts an answer.
Can I ask this question again?

Debbie,

I am not sure if I understand your problem clearly. Are you saying that when you filter data in your pivot table, your column chart (same as pivot chart?) is showing data that is filtered out?

Thanks for replying C_M.
While I've been waiting for some advice, I think I've solved my problem.
If I go through Format Data Series menu and select Data Labels, I can unselect information to be shown. And they don't reappear when the data is refreshed!!!! Perseverance wins!
