Using a chart I'm plotting data items with two values, X and Y. These items belong to persons. Obviously their names are too long, so I gave each person an ident (1,2,3...) .
What I would like to be able to is identify each data point on the chart to be identified as belonging to person "1" or "2" or... However, whatever I tried the only things you seem to be able to show as data label is either "Y" or "x,y" at various positions. But not some other data item not plotted.
Is there any such way to accomplish this?

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Somehow I must have overlooked that article. Will see if I can get this to work for me - it does seem to do what I want.

It does indeed what I was looking for. I looked at the "other options" but "Values from Cells" did not click in my mind as the solution. Thanks for the pointer!
