Good Evening,

I have a data list on one worksheet.
On the second worksheet, there is a data list and a role matrix. In the role matrix, there are courses required to become a certain position.

What I need help with is, when a selection is made from the data list on the first work sheet, a look up or reference formula will check the matrix on the second sheet and populate the a range on the first sheet.

So:
CELL A1 to A4 has a list of 5 possible roles.
Cell A1,A2,A3,A4 and A5 are populated from the data list on the second worksheet.
The Range B2 to F6 will be populated based on a role matrix on Worksheet 2.
The look up /reference will be in Cells B1 to B5 but will populate the range of cells in B2 to F6.

Any advice/help is appreciated.

Apologies if my description is as clear as mud!

Thanks

Hi Luke Thanks for taking up the mantle.
My description may have been a little on the complicated side.
I updated the Google work sheet you created, It has an example of the Data and how I hope to depict. Can you still see the sheet?
Thanks again for your help.

OK. No your edits did not save. I am new to sharing on Google but I think that this link will allow you to update. I edited permissions. If not there is a way to give you editing permissions if I had your google name or email address. Another option is to share a link with me from your google drive. But try this one first because it should be editable.
