Data load from SQL - keep data in the table removed from SQL

Hi All
I'm loading data from a SQL Server DB into a table.
All good but the source data is a rolling log, so the earliest entries are removed as new ones are added.
I'd like the Excel data to *keep* the existing rows but add any new ones - is this possible?
I've tried playing with the connection properties but it always dumps the existing data and repopulates, no matter the setting.
TIA
Si

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
You could set up a separate sheet and copy the data across. Then just copy new data to the end.

OK. Assuming the log has some unique column or combination of columns, that should be an easy task. Let me know if you would like me to knock something up for you - just tell me the column(s) that provide a unique value.

Hi there - that would be great! Sorry for the huge delay.
As an example, a combination of date-time-analyst (3 columns) would give a unique value.
