Data range to take values from different worksheets

I need a graph with a number of series, but each series needs to take data from different worksheets; e.g. Cell A5 from Worksheet 1, cell A5 from Worksheet 2, and so on.

I've struggled for a while attempting to see how to enter a series that spans diffent worksheets, such as by manually entering commas between different entries, (e.g. Data range=Sheet1!$A$5,Sheet2!$A$5) but Excel will have none of it.

This would appear to be a relatively simple operation - can anyone help?
