Hi all,

I have a pack of files with a data query to a master file with FX rates. As of now, I need to open each of them and run the data refresh the files when the master file is updated.

Is there a way to refresh all these files at the same time with a command?

Appreciate any tips.

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
You could try this as a .bat file
Bash:
@echo off

rem This script refreshes a group of files

rem Add the path and names of the files to be refreshed below
start "" "C:\path\to\file1.xlsx" /r
start "" "C:\path\to\file2.xlsx" /r
start "" "C:\path\to\file3.xlsx" /r

rem The above lines will open each file and refresh the data

echo All files have been refreshed
pause
