data validation and vlookup

I have a situation that has information on one worksheet that is needed to link to the other worksheet. Vendor, orientation and value is on the second worksheet. The first worksheet has a row designation for the vendor, orientation and value. Data validate for the vendor and orientation from sheet 2 to sheet 1 , how do we get the correct value from worksheet two after picking vendor and orientation from worksheet one?????

You can do a vlookup - recommend naming the table on worksheet two - say it's vendorTable. You may have to combine the values of vendor and orientation in a single column in that table if you need both to get the value. So on worksheet two - your first column could be =vendorCell & OrientationCell (whatever those are) and your second column could be value. Then use Vlookup(vendor & orientation, vendorTable, 2, false). Tough to be more exact without more details.
