Data validation custom unique text

Hi Experts,

I have a tab "Data" contained the following in column A

Segment

Segment 1

Segment 2

Segment 3

Segment 4

Segment 5

Segment 1

Segment 2

Segment 3

Segment 4

Segment 5

Segment 1

Segment 2

Segment 3

Segment 4

Segment 5

Segment 1

Segment 2

Segment 3

Segment 4

Segment 5

In the another tab "Result" I want to apply Data validation either custom or list in A1 with Unique Text as below, please help me to get the formula.

Segment 1
Segment 2
Segment 3
Segment 4
Segment 5

I created more "segments" in my Data tab then used this on the Result tab:

Hi kweaver, thanks, I am trying to put this formula in Data validation but not above to, can you please help how to ?

This isn't a formula for Data Validation...it's to list the unique segments. How would you want Data Validation to work for you? That's used to validate possible entries.

Actually using formula with INDEX, AGGREGATE, ISNA,MATCH are start calculating (4 Threads): % so wanted use Data Validation with List or custom source segment column of data sheet
