Data Validation is it possible

Hi,

i want to find out if there is a way where if you have a two colums both have data validation. when you select a value from the first data validation list second colum validation list should show a list of values linked to that table which was selected in the first colum.

is this possible

hi,

i have used this web link to understand what i need to do. but i am getting stuck on the step where you have to create the dependable data validation. applying the indirect fuction in the dependable list, i cant get it to work. on my sheet the list is not on A2 cell its in another cell. i dont know what i am doing wrong.
