If I have a data validation list as the source in A1. The Source of the list refers to B1:B10. Can you add new items to a data validation list by typing over the item in A1 as whenever I do that, I get told that the item is not in the list?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
A better way is add item in B11 and data validation use dynamic formula to expande range fro B1:B10 to B1:B11.
