I am having a bit of an odd issue and I am hoping someone can help. I have been given a spreadsheet created by someone else to update for this year and it seems as though the data validations (lists) are trying to pull from another file. There is one that works out of 12 tabs but when i try and copy that validation to the rest of the sheets it says that validations can't reference other workbooks. The odd thing is that when I check the tab with the reference for the validation the ranges are there and accurate to what I am trying to get listed.
Any ideas on how i can fix this?
