My workbook contains two worksheets - sheet1 and sheet2.

Cell A1 on sheet1 contains Data Validation from a list. The list is the range A1 to A3 on sheet2.

Cell A1 on sheet2 contains text that is very long but wrap text is true. I have made its column width wide as well as its height taller, in order to be able to view it.

However, I cannot see the entire text on cell A1 on sheet1, even if I turn on wrap text / make the column width wider.

Is there any way I can make the Data Validation cell show long text?

Thanks

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Long text, yes. You just widen the column so that it can display the longest item in the validation list. If you mean can you make the validation drop down menu wrap text, then I think the answer is no.

Yes, I was trying to make the data validation cell wrap text but it only ever displays a single row.
