Hello, I have a Data Validation Source Formula in cell A1. The Source is =Dropdown!$E$4:$E$216 . What I want to do is in cell B1, list out this formula as text. Cell B1 would be ''=Dropdown!$E$4:$E$216 or something like that. I want to do this because in cell A2, the data validation source is =Instructions!$A$15:$A$28 . So, in cell B2, I want cell B2 to say ''=Instructions!$A$15:$A$28. or something like that. Then cell A3 is different, and so on. Thanks in advance.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.

Is a VBA solution acceptable?

What version of Excel are you running?
