I am having a problem with dependent validated options using INDIRECT.

Please see illustration. https://www.dropbox.com/s/fnlyewqsux7rh0k/Indirect_validation.xlsm.png

The goal is to make the valid options offered in column I dependent on the selection made in column H, using =INDIRECT(A2) to define the valid options in column H.

However, the options displayed in column I are sequential and independent of the option selected in column H, and only one sequence is displayed (after the 8th row no options are displayed at all).

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I am doing wrong?
