Hello All -
I'm attempting to create a dropdown list of values using a named range source, which is itself created by applying UNIQUE to a column of values. So:

Named range is Vendor:

In the Data Validation configuration, I've tried just entering as source:
- Vendor
- INDIRECT("Vendor")
- INDIRECT(Vendor)

These all end up in errors. Is there a way to do this? I even tried using =UNIQUE(tblVendors[Vendor]) as the List source, but that didn't work either.

Thanks for any ideas.

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
You would need to put the formula in a cell & then refer to that.
So if you had the formula in E2 you would use =E2#
