Hello all,

I have an odd situation. I received a file with a date time stamp; nothing terribly unfamiliar.

However, the time stamp is formatted: dd/mm/yyyy H:MM

I can't seem to flip the date around so it's MM/DD/YYYY. Any thoughts?

Thanks...

Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Could you show some sample data.

Currently i added this then changed to another format and showing the custom format Select Column or cell then use Ctrl + 1 and then select custom

My date looks like this: 24/7/2010 9:59, where 24 is the day, 7 is the month.

As soon as I made this post I figured out how to separate out the information I needed (which figures :) ).

What I did was text to columns separating by "/" which isolated the day and month for me (the original source of my problem). From there I was able to format and recreate what I needed.

Thanks!
