Date calculation help please

I need to work out the age of someone in YEARS and MONTHS

For example if someone is 4 years 6 months old i would like it to display 4.6

I have today's date in one column and the birth date next to it.

Is there a formula to do this. Tried the help menus with no luck.

Maybe...

=DATEDIF(B1,A1,"y")&"."&DATEDIF(B1,A1,"ym")

Where A1 = Today and B1 is birth date
