Date calculation required please

Hi. What i need is a way to work out a date (dd/mm/yyyy).
For example. I have a current age of 25 (date of birth 01/01/1979)

What i need to do is have another cell which will show me the date
where age of 75yrs and 1month and 1day would be displayed (etc.)

Is there an easy way? I am a system tester and have to test a few
scenarios where rules and validation are called depending on birthdays
and the like.

Hello,

In Cell A1 enter 1/1/1979 (the birthdate)
In Cell A2 enter 1/2/75

In Cell A3 enter this formula

=A2+A1

ALternatively

If C1 contains 25 (The Age then)

in D1 enter this formula

=("1/1/"&YEAR(TODAY())-C2)+A2

Either of these any use?

I must have mis-read the request, I thought the answere required was when the age of 75 years, 1 month and 1 day was required,

e.g.

Age 25 = Birthdate 01/01/1979. What I was doing was adding 75 years, 1 month and 1 day onto this date giving an answer of 02/02/2054.

What was required was 75 years on from the birthdate, giving an answer of 01/01/2054.

Thanks gentlemen, I will work with these until i get it right.
Its difficult to explain but image you have a an age of say 20
and you want his date of birth worked out. But you also need the when he retires say 75 (what date is that going to be?)

As i suspected you just wanted to know the date 75 years on from the birthdate, Aladins formula gives this answer (as usual).

Obviusly to get the exact day of retirement, you will need to know the birthdate.
