Having some problems here...I have a column for due dates, and a column for completed date. If the entered completed date is on or before the do date, i want one formatting to happen. if the entered complete date is after the due date, different formatting to happen.

Also, in a third column, i want the content to change upon entering of the complete date. if it is completed on or before due date, Completed should appear. if it is completed after due date, completed late should appear.

thanks!!!!

For formatting, there are three conditions. Go to Format -> Conditional Formatting

Formula 1 (no formatting):
=$B2=""
If column B (completion date) is blank, don't change anything

Formula 2 (if completion is late):
=$B2>$A2
If column B (completion date) is greater than column A (due date), format it.

Formula 3 (if completion is early/on-time):
=$B2<=$A2
If column B (completion date) is less than or equal to column A (due date), format it.
