Hi
Is it possible to get excel to display a day e.g. Friday in a cell. The data entered into the cell would be a date e.g. 12-mar-2004?
I would like to have the 12-mar-2004 that I enter overwritten by Friday?
Thanks

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Yes, it can be done fairly easily.

Store your date as a date variable in the table. Then, on your form, go into the Properties of this field and change the format to "dddd".

Now when you enter 3/12/04, it will display "Friday".
