 Can someone please help?!!!

I have a date format of dd.mm.yy which Excel is just not recognising as a date therefore will not allow any format changes.

How can I get it into dd/mm/yy format please?

Desperate Lottie!

Thanks

Hi,

how about
=DATEVALUE(SUBSTITUTE(A1,".","/"))

& format the cell as appropriate.

Select the dotted date range.
Activate Data|Text to Columns.
At Step 3, choose DMY for Date in the inner pane for: Column data format.
Click OK.
