Can i get a text box in a user form to show a date in the format dd/mm/yy, instead of mm/dd/yy?

i am willing to lose the //, but i also need the dates to update from cells.

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
TextBox1.Value = Format(Range("A1").Value,"dd/mm/yy"))

or

TextBox1.Value = Range("A1").Text

if the cell A1 is formatted as dd/mm/yy

In other words, don't use linked cells.

Hi,
Or

Private Sub TextBox1_Exit(ByVal Cancel As MSForms.ReturnBoolean)
TextBox1 = Format(TextBox1, "dd/mm/yy")
End Sub
