I an using a csv format which requires the date field to be MM/DD/YYYY, but must include all the characters, not just to be formatted to look like that. Currently the only way I can figure to do it is by changing the field to a text field and re-keying the data. This won't work for me for a larger spreadsheet with many dates, so I was hoping someone knew how to take a regular date and make it MM/DD/YYYY without being complicated. Help!

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Insert a column, and put the following formula:
=TEXT(A1,"mm/dd/yyyy")

Copy down.

Copy and paste special values over the originals.
Delete the column you just put the formula in.
