Sample Cells

1. Jan 1 thru Jan 20
2. Jan 21 thru Feb 1
3....



Is there a way, based on the cell dates above, to open the excel spreadsheet and have it highlighted to the date referenced in the cell to coincide with the date you are actually opening it?

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
Ok the Trim one didnt work, but the one where I go back and format the individual cells into one date did. Question, how do I get cells 1, 2, and 3 to highlight yellow. Only Cell 1 is currently doing it.

PS- Good to see you guys spread the knowledge freely, normally only us Linux guys do that :)

general answer - select them all at the start & use the appropriate mix of relatvie & absolute references for your target cells - need something more specific?
