Probably been answered time and time again but I’m on the road and only have my phone to look at stuff with very little time. I apologize if I’m asking a redundant question:

value of cell A1 = 7/30/2021
formatted it to read 2021-07-30

how do I get the actual value of the cell to be a string displaying 2021-07-30?

I have 300 unique dates that I need to do this to.

Hi Rockchalk33,

You'd need to put a TEXT function in B1 to get it as a string. You can then copy & Paste Values back to A1 if you want.
