Date formula/function

Hi There

Please help me with a date formular that when a drag down using the fill handle it fills dates by on friday from 01-july-2011 up to friday july 2012

day date must be fridays only.

I hope i make sense and thanks in advance.

Welcome to the board...

Enter the first date (July 1 2011) manually in a cell, say A1
Then in A2 put
=A1+7
Fill down

Hope that helps.

It can also be done without a formula.

Put the first date in.

Right click on this cell and drag down. In the box that comes up click Series
Under Step Value, type 7.
Click OK.
