date formula help

Hi all , We are working on an finance calendar where we need the formula to ignore weekends and holidays when we are calculating the day an item is due. for example we have an item due day 7th business day.
So that would be 7 business days. So in the case of January Day 1 would be January 2nd 1st is a holiday so the formula should count 7 business days. THe formula I have is not working at all.

the first working day would be in cell B4 and the number of business days to count is in F24. We tried workday but that does not work ( or Im not doing it right) =WORKDAY($B$4,F24,0)

You haven't included the list of holidays in your formula (third argument).
See: MS Excel: How to use the WORKDAY Function (WS)

Since every country has its own holidays, you need to provide them. Excel does not know them otherwise.
