I do not think there is a built-in Excel formula, but you can create a user defined formula using VBA.

Set f = fso.GetFile(ThisWorkbook.FullName)
myDateLastModified = f.DateLastModified
Set fso = Nothing
Set f = Nothing

you then jut call the function as normal from within the workbook. For this to run properly you need to ensure that the reference to the 'Microsoft Scripting Runtime' is ticked. If you do not know how to do this. Let me know
