I need formulas that will take a given date in one cell such as 1/31/2022 and take me to a specific month (July or April) in the same year or the next.
So one option: to July 1 of same year; to July 1 of next year; to April 1 of the next year; and to April 1 of 2 years from that date
Can this be done?

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.

I am confused by your request. Using your example, explain in simple terms what you expect. Which cell will be your criteria and if that cell is selected (explain how) what do you want to happen. Hyperlink.? Highlight? New sheet presentation? Other? Really need to understand what you have in mind.

I want to use the start date (which I indicated as "given") and insert formulas into other fields as appropriate to the task to give me any of the other four columns. I would apply the appropriate formula as needed to schedule performance reviews. So if someone started on March 1 in some cases their next annual review would be in July of the same year, in others in April of the next year. I can make those determinations, I just need the four formulas to do the math for me to save me time.

Let me plug that in and see if it works. Thank you!
