Date formula

How can I formulate a cell to subtract today's date from a given date in the future? I want the answer to be in days, and begin with a negative number until the given date arrives. Then I want the answer to be a positive number. I want the given date to be Feb. 13th, 2005. Thanks!

=NETWORKDAYS(C8,D8)

where C8 = Today (or anyother day)
where D8 = 13/02/2005

so you get

18 days

swap the numbers and you get the -18

off course this is working days only
