I am working on a formula to calculate 7 days prior to a certain date, and can't quite seem to figure out where I am going wrong.

I have:

=MONTH((A15)+DAY(A15-7)+YEAR(A15))

Thanks for your help.

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

Hi Rodney,

I know you have your answer, but with the formula you originally tried it is close, just needed a little modification.

=DATE(YEAR(A15),MONTH(A15),DAY(A15)-7)
