Date Function

Hello Everybody,

When I enter a date like, August 30, 2011, is there a way that it will automatically give the day, like Tuesday, automatically?

Note, if you look at the cell formatting options, there is one that includes day and date, i.e.
Wednesday, March 14, 2001

So you could choose that option. Or, if you just want it to return the day of the week, use a custom format of:
dddd

=TEXT(A1,"dddd")
