Hello Everyone,

I have excel 2003.

I have two cells

Cell1: Starting Date [Insert Date Here]
Cell2: Ending Date [Automatically add 11 days here]

What I am attempting to do is have the following:

When I enter a date into Cell1 then Cell2 will automatically add 11 days onto that date and display it in a date format such as the following:

Cell1: 08/27/07
Cell2: 09/07/07 (This was automatically configured)

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
I attempted utilizing the DATE function however it wants parameters and I cannot just use =DATE(A1)+11

I have attempted a few other things that failed as well and have attempted to search online for this answer and search through the 8,347 results that come back from this forum.. :) To no avail on any of those.

Can someone help?

Thanks,

Wayne

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
=A1+11

should work - you may need to format the result cell as a date.
